Privacy Notice
Satya Shield ("we", "us") helps small businesses in India get ready for the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). This notice explains what personal data we collect on this website, why, and your rights.
1. What we collect

If you give us the business owner's name, please make sure they are fine with it. We use it only to address our message about your business's result correctly.
Our hosting provider may also record basic technical details (such as your IP address) for security and to keep the website running.
No cookies or tracking: we don't use advertising cookies, analytics trackers or tracking pixels. Your browser only remembers your language and light/dark choice on your own device.
2. Your consent
- We use your details only after you tick the consent box on our form. The boxes are never pre-ticked.
- Updates and tips are optional. Saying no does not affect your result or our call.
- You can withdraw consent at any time by messaging or emailing us (see section 7). We will then stop using your details and delete them, unless a law requires us to keep them.
3. Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data. We use these service providers to run our business:

We may also share data where the law requires it, for example on a lawful request from a government authority or court.
4. How long we keep it
- If you don't become a client: we delete your details 12 months after our last contact with you.
- If you asked for updates: until you withdraw consent.
- If you become a client: as set out in our agreement with you.
- Payment and invoice records: 8 years, because tax and accounting laws require it.
- Published reviews and Q&A: while they are on the website; ask us any time to remove yours. Reviews and questions we don't publish: deleted within 12 months.
5. How we protect it
- Only the Satya Shield team can see form submissions.
- Our accounts use strong passwords and two-step login.
- The website uses HTTPS (encrypted connection).
6. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to: tell you what data we hold about you and who we shared it with; correct or update it; delete it; and stop using it (withdraw consent). You can also complain to us, and nominate someone to exercise your rights if you cannot. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

8. Children
This website is for business owners and is not meant for anyone under 18.
9. Changes
We may update this notice. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date at the top.
